The CMG Youth Summit is our annual convening of young creatives, working mentors, and industry leaders. Apprentices step out of the classroom and into the spaces where careers actually get made — studios, network offices, and production houses.
Panels, workshops, and one-on-one networking connect our cohort to the people hiring for the next crew, the next writers' room, and the next on-camera opportunity.

Camera, edit, sound, and pitch labs led by department heads from live productions at Crashing Waves Pictures, our female-led professional media company.
Every apprentice leaves with named contacts, direct feedback, and a next step.
Behind-the-scenes access to network facilities and active productions.
The Youth Summit doesn't live in one zip code. Each year we move the room — bringing our cohort into three creative capitals where they meet the industry on its own ground.
Our home city sets the tone — a week of panels, workshops, and studio days across South Florida's growing production ecosystem.
Local partners, hometown mentors, and the venues that raised CMG open their doors to the next generation of storytellers.

The Miami Foundation is our community partner for the Miami Summit — anchoring the week in the neighborhoods that raised us and connecting apprentices to the civic leaders, funders, and cultural institutions shaping South Florida's next chapter.

A week of studio visits, panels, and on-the-ground production shadowing built a bridge between our cohort and the London creative community.
We closed the week with a screening of the London commercial at Soho House White City — apprentices, mentors, and UK collaborators in one room to watch the work land.

Local collaborators opened doors, hosted rooms, and made sure the cohort landed in a community — not just a city.

Compass Collective is our community partner for the London Summit — a UK-based creative collective working with displaced and underrepresented young people through film, music, and storytelling. They anchored our week in London and connected our apprentices to the artists, mentors, and venues shaping the city's next wave.
