Placement // Pipeline to the Apprenticeship

Our high-school workshop introduces students to the full production pipeline — lighting, sound, story and post — before they apply to the apprenticeship.

The pathway

Workshop. Apprenticeship. Workforce.

Every apprentice moves through three stages. By the final stage they are credited collaborators with a reel, a rate card, and a network.

Stage 01

Workshop

Foundations in camera, lighting, sound, and story. Open to high-school students across the community.

Stage 02

Apprenticeship

Year-long, paid, hands-on. Apprentices work on live client and partner productions with senior mentorship.

Stage 03

Placement

Direct introductions, references, and pipeline into studio partners — NBCU, Karamo, Crashing Waves, and more.

Inside the program

What a year as a CMG Apprentice actually looks like.

Twelve months. Paid. Mentored. Credited. Our apprenticeship is not a workshop with a certificate — it's a working production environment where young creatives ship real work for real partners.
